Currently on the hunt for: vanity trays
They can be in a baroque style as pictured above or more modern in
acrylic,
silver or
in a bold pattern. As for me, I'll probably be looking for them on flea markets to add some finishing touches to my apartment. Just in case I won't find what I'm looking for I thought a framed mirror could also be used as a tray to display your favorite items.
How do you like to organize/display your favorite makeup, perfumes or jewelry?

One of my recent obsessions are jewelry boxes. I kind of still regret not having bought this mirrored
Zara Home jewelry box I saw in Amsterdam, but I couldn't ignore this :
"Why do you need to store your cheap metal jewelry in a box?" Valid question! Since I didn't have an answer to that, my cheapo H&M accessories are still unorganized and I am dreaming of
Aurélie Bidermann's simple yet cute and bold pieces...

Having enough trouble getting started as it is, a depressing home office would make me even lazier than I already am. That's why I love bright, iniviting work spaces that actually would make you want to sit there and work/study etc.
In our new apartment we have a separate room for my desk and my sisters sewing machine and I collected the images below as decoration inspiration.

An inspiration board filled with pictures, motivational quotes and curiosities is an absolute necessity for me. You'll notice that there is an inspiration board/wall of some kind in every office picture I've collected.

It’s Wednesday again so this means I’ll be sharing new interior decoration ideas with you. I’m still in the process of settling in and having everything sorted but I already feel at home in our new apartment. In this post I’d like to share with you a do-it-yourself idea my sister did for her new room. Click
here to find the instructions on how to do it
(Design*Sponge has sooo many more, great source of inspiration for the crafty ones). Lilly, our cat, always wants to "help" when my sister gets crafty but obviously I’m no help at all. I have even trouble cutting out felt circles... But I’ll make it up in the
kitchen, I swear!

Hello March, hello springtime! This means it's time to show off your jewelry pieces! Being all wrapped up during winter doesn't give you an opportunity to adorn yourself with beautiful earrings, rings or bangles! I think spring is the best season to combine your wardrobe with accessories - be it a light shawl or a bold necklace combined with an airy top and a blazer.

I'm still sticking to golden jewelry as you can clearly see. My attempt to be more open towards silver items failed - I really hope this will change anytime soon.
I'm really looking forward to the Zurich Bürkliplatz flea market that starts in May. The daring covered wrist below is something I want to try this spring. It would be nice to find some vintage watches and bangles for this look. But maybe I will go for a big silver Tibetan cuff..

"In her own words, Stam is "always redecorating" and, every time she is in New York, she stops by Flair in SoHo to see the store's latest selections of antique furniture that she may like. "My apartment will never be done", she says."
