Those thigh high boots were love at first sight and I just had to wear them on my second day there. Since this purchase wasn't really plannend, I refrained myself from more excessive shopping, so in that Zara bag that I was carrying around weren't any new goodies but an extra pair of flat shoes in case I couldn't take the boots any longer. I put up a good fight I'd say, almost 8 hours of walking before finally changing into the flats...

I wore this vintage gold sweater a couple of times last winter but it never made an appearance on the blog before. The material makes me itch a little so I usually wear something underneath.

Calvin KleinTanya oversized felt coatI love the asymmetric cut of this coat and I can only imagine how divine this cashmere & wool-blend feels.
Chanel 505 ParticulièreJust when I thought Chanel couldn't get better than this
mint green nail polish, the make up director over at Chanel, Peter Philips, came up with this love-at-first-sight nail polish in this mauve color for the Spring/Summer 2010 fashion show. You know how impatient I am so obviously I'm not going to wait until January and will
mix this myself.
Burberry Prorsum Leather ankle bootsOh I'm sure many people "in the real world" (you know what I mean) wouldn't approve of these but I think they're perfect for winter. Ankle support? Check! Robust profile sole? Check! Plus I'd be taller than 6ft. which is also kind of cool. ^^

This is what I wore to work last Friday. Usually I go in jeans and flats but sometimes I also like to dress up a little. I spent my lunch break with Pascal and Mi-Ji and really didn't want to go back to the office as the two of them went shopping afterwards... But it wasn't that bad, I listened to the soundtrack of "Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain" the whole afternoon. Yann Tiersen is really a genius. This is
my favourite song of the album. It's so dreamy and melancholic, well, at least to me...

Czech model Hana Soukupova wearing her open toe patent leather ankle boots more than once. I love how she dressed them up or down.
Recently I saw a pair at Zara but didn't buy them because I think they're impractical. You can't wear them when it's cold or rainy without tights and I personally think that they look better with more skin shown. You see how I try to be sensible about yet another shoe purchase?! We'll see if I can resist temptation or get me a pair of these HOT booties!

As I was drooling over these shoes my sister had a look at them and her reaction was:
"Ick, those are ugly." Well, I'm sure there are lots of other people out there who don't like them at first glance, but look at those artfully crafted heels and the uniquely architectured platforms... The designs are powerful, almost to the point of overwhelming (read: keep the outfit simple, let the shoes do the talking), and made for "women with presence and intellect"
Nicholas Kirkwood tells
Oyster Magazine in a recent interview.
"Decorating for the sake of decorating is a really old-fashioned notion, I'm more about form and function. Some of my heels look quite aggressive, but they are always feminine – not girly, you won't find any bows or diamonds."Pictures:

The newest addition to my shoe collection. These are probably the highest heels I own, but I just couldn't resist... Patent, suede, chains and now the customized red soles. They make me
happy.

Tried them on at Zara and even though they were too expensive for synhetic shoes I seriously thought about buying them. If it wasn't the end of summer (or better said already almost winter here) I would have bought them.
The heel is very high but still comfortable because of the platform. I felt like a giant. :) Who cares?! Well, sometimes I do. But never mind.
Definitely crave worthy...

Christina Aguilera blows out candles on Nylon cake. With so much happening in the fashion world and so many celebrities in rehab, we have been remiss in reporting on the celebrity scene.
So, it's Monday, time to dig some of last week's celebrities doings.
Christina Aguilera really looked stunning at the NYLON magazine party.
Great photo on the anniversary cake.
Gisele Bundchen Stiletto Heel Dance.Hum, we just love watching Christina pucker up and blow . . .
What our favorite Brazilian sexy kitten doing. Well, Gisele Bundchen launched the Ipanema-Gisele Bundchen Y Ikatu Xingu Footwear Collection.
We can see Gisele is very excited by the new footwear line, doing a little dance in sexy high heel shoes.
Just wondering if Gisele’s sexy high heel shoes are part of the collection.
